Frommer's Review
For those who prefer to stay near the train station, this is an old-fashioned, reliable choice. Because it has large and clean but ordinary rooms spread over four floors (no elevator), your chances of finding availability are better here, one of the larger places I suggest. It's been in the Basardelli family for generations -- the current head manager, Graziella, was even born in a second-floor room -- and they and their efficient staff supply dining suggestions, umbrellas when necessary, and big smiles after a long day of sightseeing. Rooms with shared bathrooms always come with sinks.
