Frommer's Review
The Puppin family's tasteful hotel is a steal: This level of attention, coupled with the sophisticated buon gusto in decor and spirit, is rare in this price category. You'll find orthopedic mattresses under ribbon candy-print or floral spreads, immaculate white-lace curtains, stained-glass windows, new bathrooms, and even (in a few rooms) tiny terraces. The family suites -- with two bedrooms, minibars, and shared bathrooms -- are particularly good deals, as are the small but stylishly rustic apartments with kitchenettes and washing machines (in the two smaller ones). A savvy international crowd has discovered this classy spot, so you'll need to reserve far in advance.
