It used to be location, location, location that had loyal guests returning to the Aurora. But after a refurbishing of all guest rooms and en suite bathrooms, it is the decor that brings them in as well. Six doubles are blessed with views of one of the world's great squares, the Piazza delle Erbe and the white-umbrella stalls that make up the daily marketplace. Consider yourself lucky if you snag the top-floor double (there is an elevator!) with a small balcony. There's another terrace, overlooking the mercato (market), for the guests' use on the second floor, just above the breakfast room where the hotel's free daily ample buffet is served.
