Victoria loves breakfast, and this is one of the best of the city’s many, many places serving up toast and a cup of Joe. Located in one of Lower Johnson’s heritage buildings, it has cozy vintage charm to spare, with exposed brick walls, antique counters, and a funky sort of portico detail that forms a frame for the menu boards. It can get a bit crowded, though, so if you can, sit out on the pretty garden patio. Breakfast and lunch are served all day, so if you prefer a burger for brekkie, you’re good to go. But why would you when the breakfasts are this good? Try the banana-pecan French toast with a side of Willie’s famous maple-syrup-glazed bacon.
