From Johannesburg -- The majority of visitors are more likely to arrive on the Zambian side of the falls, at nearby Livingstone International Airport: Nationwide has two daily direct flights from Johannesburg; BA and SAA fly once daily. You might want to compare prices with the daily flights to Victoria Falls International Airport (even if you're heading for the Zambian side, it's relatively easy to arrange a transfer and only an hour away from Livingstone). Both SAA and BA fly once daily; Air Zimbabwe offers the same route but this is not advisable.
Most hotels offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; arrange this in advance. If you have to make a visa payment at the airport in Zimbabwe, make sure you have the correct amount or you will be given change in Z$. Please note that you will have to pay a US$30 departure tax when you leave Zimbabwe; make sure that this is included in your ticket, or have the cash on you.
From the U.K. -- At press time there was talk of introducing a direct flight from London to Livingstone; check the Web or ask your travel agent.
By Train
