Frommer's Review

Beethoven (1770-1827) lived in this building on and off from 1804 to 1814. Beethoven is known to have composed his Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Symphonies here, as well as Fidelio and other works. There isn't much to see except some family portraits and the composer's scores, but you might feel it's worth the climb to the fourth floor (there's no elevator).
