Despite the fact that it opened a quarter of a century ago, this restaurant oozes with Old Viennese style and resembles the traditional beisl (bistro) with its copious portions of conservative, time-honored Viennese food. You can dine within a pair of dining rooms or move into the beer garden. Menu items include stuffed mushrooms, tafelspitz, schnitzels, and filets of zander, salmon, and trout. Be aware that this establishment shares the same building and address as the restaurant Schlossgasse 21.
