Frommer's Review

This is one of the few genuine Biedermeier-style hotels left in Vienna. It's right behind the Rathaus, a 10-minute walk from most of the central monuments. The facade evokes the building's early-19th-century elegance, with triangular or half-rounded ornamentation above many of the windows. The bedrooms have been refurbished and are comfortably old-fashioned, and many are spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed for people traveling with small children. Bathrooms are equipped with shower units and kept sparklingly clean.
