Nightlife
Vilcabamba is a remote town known for its peace and tranquillity. The nightlife here is very subdued. But the recent and rapid increase in tourism has given rise to a few bars in town. Shanta's is my favorite spot, with a laid-back drinking scene; the drink specialty is shot of a local cane liquor kept in a bottle with a coral snake pickling inside it.
