Los Tulipanes offers good food and has excellent service. The staff tends to a full house with ease, and, on busy days, a guitar trio strolls and serenades. Because the restaurant is on the Río Grijalva near the Pellicer Museum of Anthropology, you can combine a visit to the museum with lunch here. The staff may bring you a plate of tostones de plátano -- mashed banana chips. In addition to seafood and steaks, Los Tulipanes serves such Mexican specialties as chiles rellenos, tacos, and enchiladas. It has a popular buffet on Sunday.
