This hotel is centrally located between the downtown area and the modern western section. It's close to the Parque-Museo La Venta, the bus station, and the city's principal restaurant district. The rooms are large, and most are carpeted and have midsize bathrooms. They don't offer any surprises. An attractive pool area separates the hotel from the hotel's bar, which gets fairly good live talent -- Latin music and comedy acts. A quiet bar inside has soft piano or guitar music.
