Frommer's Review
The best thing about the Hotel Albamar is its location near restaurants, the casino, and the beach, but the price is a bit steep for such basic guest rooms. The hotel recently gave up its dining area to the independently owned Shitake restaurant, shrinking the hotel's size. Room decor is country kitchen, and a little on the frilly side. I recommend booking a room in their separate building in the back for newer furnishings and spacious "superior" rooms.
