Volcano Rainforest Retreat Review
This charming property is on an acre of native rain forest. The Guest Cottage has a full kitchen, a sleeping loft, and a bathroom that looks right into the forest. The octagonal "Forest House" studio is a new addition with private forest entrance, queen bed, gas fireplace, kitchenette, skylight dome, and private bathroom. The "Sanctuary" started out as a mediation house, but once guests saw it, they begged the Goldens to rent it out. The only drawback to this studio is the half-bath, but next door, open to the forest, is a handcrafted Japanese furo (hot tub) with an outdoor shower. The Bamboo guest house was added in 2004.
