Frommer's Review
The San Lino is the best hotel in town, a 13th-century palazzo that until 1978 was a cloistered convent. The older rooms on the first floor, reserved mainly for students and groups, have battle-scarred functional furniture and subcompact bathrooms of the curtainless shower persuasion. The accommodations on the second floor (and those on the first that stretch alongside the large terrace with its small pool) are what make this hotel stand out. These rooms feature minibars, curtained windows, and larger, new bathrooms. The San Lino isn't as centrally located as the other hotels listed here (still, it's only a 2-min. walk up to the main piazza), but it is definitely more comfortable. One unusual perk: The staff offers to download your digital photos onto a CD, to free up space on your camera.
