Villa Nencini ReviewThis converted 17th-century farmhouse may be a 10-minute walk from the city, but it's got great countryside views, and Mario Nencini, an ex-trattoria owner, is passionate about wine and keeps a private enoteca downstairs. He appreciates groups, which receive substantial discounts on rooms, and he'll also treat a party of at least six hotel guests to a free tasting in the cellar with snacks. Ground-floor rooms of the newer of the two wings are larger, with independent entrances (note that the reception closes 12:30am-7am), but the trade-off is there are no real views.
