The lunch-pail crowd loves this combination cafe-bakery. Grab-and-go options include a plate of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and smoked ham and Jarlsberg cheese sandwiches, but it's the array of tempting pastries, cakes, cookies, and waffles with strawberry preserves that bring in the majority. Sit in the small, open-air seating area (just beyond the door, adjacent to the Stave Church) and let your kids work off excess energy at the Viking ship. Wine is sold by the glass.
