Fulton's Crab House

Lobster (Maine and Australian) and crab (stone, king, and Dungeness) continue to dominate the menu at this upscale eatery, which is housed in a replica of an elegant (albeit permanently moored) 19th-century Mississippi riverboat. It's one of the area's best seafood houses -- and your bill will reflect that. The casual yet elegant decor, recently refreshed in 2010, is accented with folk art, nautical brass, and seafaring paraphernalia scattered throughout its various rooms (the Market Room, Trophy Room, Industry Room, and Constellation Room, each boasting its own unique decor dedicated to the denizens of the deep). The menu changes often, but with more than 50 fresh seafood selections to choose from, you won't be disappointed. The seared tuna (served rare) and blue crab cakes are delicious. There's a scattering of Florida seafood, including black grouper and red snapper. In mild weather, consider dining on one of the three outdoor decks for a more panoramic view. Be prepared for a long wait (even with Advance Reservations); try having a late lunch here to shorten your waiting time. Fulton's has one of Lake Buena Vista's better wine lists. And though you may not see many of them, kids are welcomed here.
