Getting There

Trains run frequently between Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. A one-way ticket costs around £4.50. Call tel. 0845/748-4950 for schedules and information.

One Stagecoach bus, the 16, departs Stratford-upon-Avon every hour during the day. The trip takes roughly half an hour. Call the tourist office (tel. 0870/160-7930) for schedules. National Express (tel. 0871/781-81-81; www.nationalexpress.com) runs four buses daily from the Riverside bus station in Stratford-upon-Avon to Puckerings Lane in Warwick for £1.50. Take the A46 if you're driving from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Visitor Information

The Tourist Information Centre is at the Court House, Jury Street (tel. 01926/492212; www.warwick-uk.co.uk), and is open daily from 9:30am to 4:30pm (it's closed Dec 24-26 and Jan 1).
