Frommer's Review
This San Francisco-style B&B has two locations: a set of Victorian town houses in Adams-Morgan and two houses in nearby Woodley Park. As of 2007, all of the guest rooms at both locations have new beds.
The cozy common areas and homey guest rooms are furnished with finds from antiques stores, flea markets, and auctions. Rooms offer either double or queen-size beds. The Mintwood Place town house also has an efficiency apartment with a kitchen, telephone, and TV; one small two-room apartment with a kitchen, cable TV, and telephone; and four suites (two, two-bedroom and two "executive" suites, in which the living room and bedroom are together). Each location serves an expansive complimentary breakfast. Guests have access to laundry and ironing facilities, a refrigerator, a TV, and a phone. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all of the rooms.
Facilities:
Washer/dryer; common fridge; common TV

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
