Frommer's Review
Four Native American tribes are 49% owners of this hotel, which makes this the first multitribal partnership with nontribal partners on land off a reservation. During the day, you can easily walk to the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and other Mall museums, as well as to Capitol Hill; at night, however, this part of town shuts down.
Hotel features mimic the look of the Indian Museum. Guest rooms evince a Native American cultural motif through the use of etched wood headboards, artwork, and other design elements. The roomy suites all have fully equipped kitchens. Rates include a generous breakfast, social-hour buffets Monday through Wednesday, and grocery-delivery service. The property has an indoor pool and exercise room and a gift shop, which sells tour tickets.
Facilities:
Indoor pool, whirlpool, and sun deck; exercise room; business center; copy/fax service; laundry valet and self-serve laundry; grocery-shopping service; Wi-Fi in public space

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
