Lucky Bar is a good place to kick back and relax. The bar has a front room overlooking Connecticut Avenue and a back room decorated with good-luck signs, couches, hanging TVs, booths, and a pool table. Lucky Bar is known in the area as a "soccer bar," with its TVs turned to soccer matches going on around the world. Also: Monday through Wednesday and Friday, Lucky Bar's happy hour starts at 3pm and continues until 8pm! There's music most nights, sometimes live, but usually it's courtesy of a DJ. Other times the jukebox plays, but never so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. "Everybody dance now." And they do.
