Count yourself lucky if your able to book a stay at this very exclusive (translation: just one room!) B&B run by married couple Neil Harrap and Sally Guiness. Both are enthusiastic hosts who welcome guests into their grand 1892 home and treat them like favorite cousins. The building itself is a Victorian beaut with high ceilings, stained glass windows, elegant cast iron lacework and handsome bay windows. It was built by a member of parliament, so it has real grandeur to it, helped by its position perched in the Thorndon hills just above Tinakori Village. The room you'll stay in is pretty special, too. Actually it's two rooms: a handsome, light filled bedroom and a real sitting room. A lovely breakfast is included in the nightly rate.
