What started as a ho hum Swiss cafe in 1963 has morphed over the years. Today we'd call it mellow, modernist, and mouthwatering. It's a  cool, stylish den of the hip crowd who, once they’ve finished dinner, party well into the night at the bar. And why wouldn't they? The mixologists here are truly talented, whipping up some of the most creative, delish cocktails in town. That being said, the food alone is worth the visit. It's served in "sharing" portions and ranges the globe for inspiration, from an excellent lamb shank moussaka to a very NZ red snapper with cauliflower puree. One warning: the lighting here is mostly from candles, and so very dim. You'll likely have to use your smart phone to see your menu (or your meal!).
