This is a regular port of call for locals, who know they can count on it for excellent dining free of formality. The casual, modest dining room has a splendid view of a secluded cove, while the menu focuses on local seafood, with selections for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Typical dishes include Heron's Cove crab cakes with wasabi mayonnaise, or Danmanus Bay scallops with smoked bacon cream sauce. The menu usually includes lobster in the summer. For dessert, indulge in the Russian cheesecake, the house specialty. The cellar of 50 to 60 international wines is open for browsing, and you can discuss the wines with other diners.
