Sea Kayaking -- One of the best ways to get a feel for Whidbey Island is from water level in a sea kayak. Tours originating in Langley are offered by Whidbey Island Kayaking Company (tel. 800/233-4319; www.whidbeyislandkayaking.com), which charges $49 for a 2-hour tour.
