Heli-Skiing
Whistler Heli-Skiing (tel. 888/HELI-SKI or 604/932-4105; www.whistlerheliskiing.com), is one of the more established operators. A three-run day, with 1,400 to 2,300m (4,500-7,500 ft.) of vertical helicopter lift, costs C$670 (US$536) per person. A four-run day, for expert skiers and riders only, with 1,800 to 3,000m (6,000-10,000 ft.) of vertical helicopter lift, costs C$750 (US$600) per person. Both trips include a guide and lunch.
