The Buffalo Cafe, 514 3rd St. (tel. 406/862-2833), is Whitefish's best breakfast spot -- try their legendary bacon-and-egg-filled pies. Bagels and coffee are the orders of choice at the Bean Hive, 10 Baker Ave. (tel. 406/862-6383). And for inexpensive but tasty Mexican fare for lunch and dinner, try La Hacienda, 130 Central Ave. (tel. 406/862-6111), in the Remington Casino.
