One of the newest hotels in Whitehorse, the High Country Inn is attached to a small convention center just south of downtown. After staying in historic gold rush-era rooms across the North, the High Country Inn's very comfortable, corporate hotel rooms may be enticing. There's variation in room size; if you want extra space, ask for a room on the third or fourth floors, which have executive, Jacuzzi, and kitchenette suites. In summer, the deck at the Yukon Mining Company, the hotel's restaurant, is one of the city's most popular outdoor dining and drinking venues.
