Frommer's Review
Least expensive of the foundation's hotels, the Governors Inn is a two- and three-story, 1960s-vintage brick motel, most of whose rooms open to outdoor walkways. Natural wood furniture brightens the standard rooms, and Williamsburg posters on the walls remind you where you are. There's an outdoor pool for cooling off. It's on the northwestern edge of the Historic Area near the Transportation Center, which means that trains come by during the night. Note: Pets are no longer accepted.
