The Wilmington Blue Rocks (tel. 302/888-BLUE [2583]; www.bluerocks.com), a Class A Kansas City farm team who finished in first place in their division in 2009, play at the 5,900-seat Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, off I-95 near the Riverfront. Box seats are $10; reserved seats are $9; general admission is $6; and children, seniors, and military pay $4. Parking is free. Frawley Stadium is also home of the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame (tel. 302/425-3263; www.desports.org), open April through October, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5pm. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for youths 12 to 19.

Horse Racing & Slots

For half a century, racing fans have placed their bets at Delaware Park, 4 1/2 miles south of Wilmington, off I-95 exit 4B, Stanton (tel. 800/417-5687 or 302/994-2521; www.delawarepark.com). Thoroughbred racing is offered April through October Saturday and Monday to Wednesday; post time is 1:15pm. Simulcast racing is offered year-round. Slot machines are available 24 hours a day. There are restaurants and weekend entertainment.
