A good budget choice for those planning to spend little time in their rooms, this has basic, motel-size rooms with industrial carpeting, durable furniture, and a few nice touches, such as quilts on the beds and a family room with microwave and VCR. Bathrooms have curious 4-foot-square tubs (with showers), which are weird and appealing at the same time, and this is one of the few budget motels you'll ever book with its own on-site driving range. The place is popular with both snowmobilers and skiers in winter.
