Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Winslow is on I-40 at the junction with Ariz. 87, which leads north to the Hopi mesas and south to Payson. Amtrak (tel. 800/872-7245) trains stop in Winslow at La Posada hotel, 501 E. Second St.

Visitor Information -- Contact the Winslow Chamber of Commerce, 523 W. Second St. (tel. 928/289-2434; www.winslowarizona.org), which is housed in the town's restored Hubbell Trading Post. The historic building now houses a visitor center and museum exhibits on Winslow's history.
