Getting There -- Take the train to Oxford. The Gloucester Green bus (no. 20 or 120A) leaves Oxford about every 30 minutes during the day. The trip takes a little more than a half-hour. Call Stagecoach (tel. 01865/772250; www.stagecoachbus.com) for details. If you're driving, take the A44 from Oxford.

Visitor Information -- The Tourist Information Centre is at the Oxfordshire Museum, Park Street (tel. 01993/813276), open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 2 to 5pm in winter, Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 1 to 5pm in summer.
