A good variety of delicious vegetarian dishes make it popular with local and visiting monks, nuns, and laypeople. Some of the excellent dishes here include baaiguo naangua bao (stewed gingko nut with pumpkin), lancai roumo sijidou (olive leaf fried with string beans), huakai xianfo (braised tofu in aromatic broth), jinshang tianhua ("shredded pork" with yuxiang flavor), and tieban heijiao niupaai (grilled "steak" with black-pepper sauce).
