Windy Point Vineyards
This winery, perched atop a hill with an outstanding view from the glass-walled tasting room, is at the west end of the valley and makes an excellent starting point for a wine tour of the area. The family-owned place focuses on cabernet sauvignon and merlot, but also produces gewürztraminer, syrah, cabernet franc, and other varietals. Good values can sometimes be found here.
