When Rudder’s opened its doors as an early Nova Scotia brewpub, the promise was good that there was finally a great place to eat in Yarmouth. However, over time, the quality of the food declined to be just okay. The craft beer is good. Eat here, but don’t expect exceptional. The location, on the other hand, couldn’t be better. Set right on the waterfront in a former warehouse, the feel is refurbished industrial with a long wooden bar and views inside of either fermentation tanks or through the windows of wharves and fishing boats. The sizeable deck overlooks the busy harbor very close to the ferry terminal. Call ahead for the schedule of live entertainment.
