Agava Trattoria

Set above Tkalciceva on a terraced hill, diners at this trendy spot have a bird's-eye view of the action whether they sit on the handsome outdoor deck or in the dining room behind tall glass windows. Agava's food tends to have an Italian influence, but there are some Croatian specialties and salad choices, too. Try the Coquilles St. Jacques and cashew salad and end with the divine figs and plums in red wine sauce with vanilla ice cream. Tip: There may be RESERVED signs on all the tables. Don't let that dissuade you. Our waiter quipped that the signs were there "for people who eat here."
