Frommer's Review
English owners Steve and Deb Masefield have furnished this lovely 1931 home with many family antiques, creating an inn that is both attractive and comfortable. We especially enjoy the historic ambience. On the first floor there are two cheerful rooms, decorated in a mix of antique and country furnishings, each with one double bed. Upstairs is a 1,200-square foot suite with a vaulted ceiling, a wood-burning stove, a kitchenette, and a claw-foot tub plus separate shower in the bathroom. You'll find a queen-size bed and two single beds, and windows reveal the gardens and the national park. The cute Garden Cottage, which was moved here from inside the national park, contains two small but comfortable rooms on the main floor, each with one queen-size bed; and a lower level hikers' room, more rustic, with two single beds. In the backyard is an attractive garden area with seating. Breakfast generally includes home-baked breads, fresh fruit, and a hot main dish. All units are nonsmoking.
