Best Place to stay in Manila

by velvetmusk »

I'm with my friends and we're going to the Philippines. We are looking for a place to stay for a month or so but we think that hotels are quite expensive. Any recommendations?

What are your interests?  Shopping, partying, local culture?  Are you male or female or a mixed group?

What is  your price range for "Best Place to stay in Manila?"

For a hotel recommendation you should say what your price is per night.     You can only get the best you can afford.

I like the Ermita area of Manila, but I am retired.    Perhaps one of these places will fit your budget.  (Whatever it is.)

Friendly Guest House.   Stone House Hotel (Mabini.)  Midtown Inn.

Above hotels are a short walk from the Robinson Mall.

Book one night or two and check out other places in person.

If your interests are partying, shopping and such, you could stay in BGC (Bonifacio Global City). It's not exactly located in Manila but located in Taguig. It's a very nice place and I'm thinking staying in a condo is a nice things also if your stay will last for quite some time. Theere are a lot of condos in BGC, condos from Ayala, Megaworld. But I suggest dmci, Bonifacio Heights Condo. :)

Manila offers a wide range of beautiful, extraordinary and gorgeous hotel for staying. According to my experience the Hyatt Regency Hotel & Casino Manila and Lotus Garden Hotel Manila are the best place to stay this region. Its location, atmospheres, foods taste and staff were awesome. What you say about it? Am I right.

There are a lot of places to stay in Manila. If you are looking for less expensive hotels, a good place to stay could be the Townhouse Hostel which is only 5 euros per night per person. This place is closet o the airport and it is cheap. Don´t expect any frills or anything beyond basic accommodation. A place to spend the night on the last day in Manila before catching a flight back home or elsewhere while on vacation. For double that price, at 10 euros per person per night one can stay in “Our Melting Pot” which is pretty basic but it has air conditioning and there are curtains that divide the beds in the dorm. This place is on Makati Road.

However, if travelling with children or a group of people, it might be worth it to rent a penthouse apartment and enjoy a little less spartan accommodations. For cheaper option, try guesthouses and you'll be surprised on how much you can save.
