What exactly is "Share a Trip".

by kringenwally »

And I thought it was a place to come back to and post trip reports.

But I like the '60s reminiscence - "Don't Bogart That Joint, Mah Friend!"

Travelandnature - takes one to know one maybe, eh?

Living where I do now it might very well be that 60's term applied to my generous indoor-farming neighbors.

"...Living where I do now..."

Would that be Colorado? Lots of indoor farming (now legal) up that way...

That would be Northern California.  Better weather for said farming, indoors and out.  Semi-legal.

I believe it was intended for people who are looking to take a trip but don't want to go at it solo and are seeking someone who is willing to share the trip. That's my shot in the dark. blush

So that's why the British Columbia forum has practically dried up?  "Indoor farming" now going on south of the border has negated the need for any trips north?

So did Joan of Arc, and look where that got her: Title role in a Cheech and Chong movie...

Share a Trip :

Three Stooges pratfalls ?

A term from 1960s drug culture ?

An insurance man's nightmare scenario of loose carpets in a department store.

Share a Tip :

Psst - Easy Eights to win in the fifth.

Take a ride with Artie Johnson ?

A pool hall that recycles ?

I first read it as "Share a Tip" which made sense to me, little ideas that didn't quite fit anywhere else.  But now I can't decide if this this a place for trip reports or roommates or maybe something else altogether.  Please enlighten me, oh you with inside knowledge.  Or even another guess.
