Solo female traveler - Spain

by lindygirl »

I went on a solo trip to Spain to San Sebastian, Barcelona, Granada, and Seville. It was my first solo international trip so I was really scared before I went but I ended up having a great time. I found Spain to be safe for solo female travelers - highly recommended!

I posted a travel blog of my photos, itinerary, and tips:

Thanks for reading!

Oh, it's fantastic the experience of travelling solo. I've just been in a Wine & Food Tour in Valencia and it's been wonderful. People are very charming especially the cook who teaches cooking lessons during your stay. Her blog with recipes is excellent too. I'm sure I'll come back next year. http://www.coolfoodvalencia.com/adelas-blog/

Violent crime against tourists is scarce in Spain but petty theft is common, so while you needn't be paranoid while wandering, you do need to stay alert.
