Santorini Excursions

Village of Oia & Santorini Island (3½ hr.; $75): Visit Oia, a village perched atop a cliff on Santorini's northern coast. Known as the island's most picturesque traditional village, it offers blue-domed churches, charming narrow streets, lovely tavernas and shops, and astounding views of the ocean and coast. Tour includes a tour and tasting at a local winery.

Volcano Hotel Springs Hike & Swim (3 hr.; $70): Travel by boat to a tiny volcanic island in Santorini's harbor to walk on volcanic sand and lava fragments, and then visit thermal springs and swim in the hot, mineral-rich waters (heavenly!). On the return trip, the drop-off point is in Fira, which you can explore on your own (you take the cable car back to the ship; tickets are provided).

Beach Transfer (4 hr.; $35): Two different tours take you to and from one of Santorini's great beaches -- either Perissa or Perivolos, both to the south. Both tours drop you off in Fira.
