Cheapest of the rental properties will be condos, which will be attached to other units and will usually, though not always, share a pool. Houses will be about 30% pricier, free-standing and will almost always boast a private swimming pool.
Though owned by private individuals, both types of properties are inevitably maintained by on-site maintenance companies. Because these companies not only clean but rent out the properties, they enforce certain standards for décor and amenities. It's very unusual to find a unit without cable TV in each room, well-equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. High speed internet, Jacuzzis, billiard tables and video games are also common.
