From Michelle Escalane: "Just a word to the wise, while the Dragon bus line was good from the point of origin (NYC) to Baltimore during non-rush travel times, it was aweful during the holidays. Even a confirmed ticket wasn't getting me on a Dragon bus on New Years Eve."
From Big Al: "Myself and 3 friends are planning a 3 - 4 Month trip in September starting at L.A then travelling North to Seattle, across to New York, down the East coast to Miami, from there we are making our way through New Orleans, Texas, and Las Vegas before we end our trip back in L.A. We will be using Greyhound buses as our major transportation and staying at Backpacker Hostels and Budget Motels for our accomodation. If anyone has done a trip like this, any advice you can give will be much appreciated, i.e Hostel costs, good places to stay (and the not so good)."
From Eileen Friedman: "I need directory of lodgings between SF & Atlanta Ga for road trip that will accommodate pets. We are moving & must take pets. How can I find such lodgings?"
From Caryn McElroy: "I'm trying to help my friends plan their wedding and honeymoon. They are currently serving in Iraq so I'm doing what I can to help. They are spending so much money on the wedding that they can't afford a honeymoon. I've seen honeymoon registries on the web. They seem like a great way to get friends and family to pay for the honeymoon. Does anyone have anything to say about them? Good idea? Bad idea? Are there any particular ones to stay away from?"
From Chris Connor: "This is both my intinerary and some cut and pastes I did researching my trip to Nova Scotia, I have made comments on places I went to! Overall I enjoyed my trip to NS but it is too far for me to go back (Boston) It was very quiet, nice but not a place I need to go back to!"
