Fancy a quick getaway but think that it would be way too expensive to consider Paris? Well think again. There are plenty of bargains out there, including super cheap airfares and discounted air and hotel packages, so go ahead.

When the going gets tough, band together. US Airways and America West completed their merger late last year, pulling together two major airlines best known for low fares.
Who doesn¿t want to experience the wonders of Italy. The fresh olives; the lazy days in the Tuscan sun; the red sauce of Sicily; the ageless ambiance of Rome; the haute couture of Milan; the legacy of the Medici in Florence; The Amalfi. One could go on forever.

From Rachel Druker: "I have always found these boards so helpful, I wanted to share a few insights from a recent trip to Paris. We had a lovely time, and I would go back¿but not in January. I would love to see some of the fountains that were not flowing this time of year and the gardens I imagine are lovely when in bloom."
From marie11: "My husband and I are traveling back from Manuel Antonio to San Jose at the end of a 8-day trip to Arenal and Manuel Antonio end of Feb. We will reach San Jose around 5:30pm (or maybe around noon if we take an earlier bus) and our flight out is the next day around 2:30pm. I would like any advice you have on where to stay (what area of town and any hotel suggestions) as well as anything we could see/do or restaurants/night life stuff."
From krosen: "Will be going to St Lucia at the beginnng of February and would like to see wildlife (parrots, iguanas, turtles, and so on). Any advice on the best sites/trails? Also, do you recommend any trip providers and/or guides?"
From margok: "I would like to go on a Tanzania safari in 2007. I would be visiting the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Arusha National Park, the Serengeti and taking a post trip to the Masai Mara."
From lademps: "Would like to hear from anyone who has stayed at The Jellystone Campground in Luray, VA. We are looking into a 3 night stay in one of their cabins in July. We have a 4 year old and it looks like a great place for families."
