Bali is an escape to artistic and creative passions, and great natural beauty formed by volcanoes slicing through its land mass from coast to coast. Many of the Balinese speak English and are well-known for their friendliness. But it's the sandy beaches and local crafts such as masks and furnishings that keep tourists flocking to the island.

From Cynthiam: "I was just online renting a car for my trip when I came across a website for currency exchange, www.ordercurrency.com. Has anyone heard of them? Is this a good idea?"
From Mickyjapan: "We spent three days in Krakow in October, 2005. We stayed at the Pension Trecius, and it was great. Reasonable price and the location could not be better. We were only about 50 yards from the main square. No elevator but most rooms on the second floor. Breakfast available but only if you request it -- we had it only the first morning but went elsewhere on the subsequent days to one of the many cafes close by."
From roykirk1: "Planning a trip to Kansas City at the end of March. This will sound like a weird question maybe (but I'm from NYC): Do we need to rent a car? We are looking at staying in the Overland Park area. Is there mass transit there? Is that a convenient location? We are still trying to figure out what to do (we'll be arriving Wed night and leaving Sun with our 9 year old)."
From Tracer724: "I am beginning to plan a trip to Anchorage and would like to know how far in advance it is recommended to purchase the tickets for a trip in June of 2007? I have checked the car rentals in Anchorage for June of this year and some are totally booked. So people are definitely planning ahead. I want to know my flights before making any other reservations for our trip so any suggestions would be appreciated."
From kshaler: "We're a family of four with two kids ages 11 and 15. I'd like to take a road trip around February 17th for about a week down Baja to see the baby whales in San Ignacio. Maybe spend the rest of our time on the gulf side since we like to kayak. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go. What will the weather be like? Do I need advance reservations? My Spanish is fairly fluent. Thanks!"
