Sunset Beach Resort & Spa, an all-inclusive hideaway in Jamaica, has announced that its 2003 rates will be the same as those for last year, and that it has renovated its 120 garden rooms. (The resort has a total of 420 air-conditioned rooms, each with one king or two double beds, bathrooms with full baths and showers, hair dryers, phone with voice mail, color cable TV, in-room safes and private balconies or terraces.) Unlike some all-inclusive spots, Sunset Beach invites singles and families, as well as couples. All-inclusive winter rates, the high season, range from $250 to $310 per room, per night, based on double occupancy, which works out to a minimum of $125 per adult.
Some mothers chide their children that having champagne tastes and a beer budget would lead to no end of trouble, but Globus, the big travel company with U.S. headquarters in Colorado, thinks otherwise. It's offering a Castle & Villa Stay in its new LeisureStyle program for 2003. You sleep in castles, villas, chateaus and the like for costs as low as about $250 per person per night, including roundtrip air across the Atlantic from New York.
One of America's most experienced tour operators, Collete Vacations, is offering a free monthly newsletter of its promotions and regular packages. It features such deals as Super Saver options, which include London, Paris or Rome for six days/four nights, with five meals, from $799 per person.

From Kathy Thornton: "A few years ago, I read an article on Frommers.com about a hiking group out of England--HF Holidays. I was finally able to take one of their trips. I chose Sorrento and went late September/early October."
