It's Love All with the Best Online Tennis Vacation Site Around
What's important about the site, says Roger Cox, its highly respected editor with more than 17 years of experience in this specialized field, is that "at anytime of the year [you can] search for resorts and camps by specifying how much you're willing to pay for lodging. If, for example, you search for rates under $100 per night, you'll get a list of more than 40 properties.". more>

AirTrain from Penn Station to Newark Airport
From Caroline Kimberly: "Has anyone else had any difficulties using AirTrain from Penn Station to the Newark Airport? My husband and I visited Manhattan over the Christmas holidays, and were sorely disappointed in the Airtrain service, touted on Continental's website as fast, safe, and dependable. Upon our arrival at Newark Airport, we found out that the quoted every 20 minutes running of the train was an average -- the wait for some trains was as little as 15 min, while others required an hour wait." more>

Renting a Private Residence
From Randyk: "This year I have decided to try renting someone's private condo for a vacation. I have never done this before and I am hesitant about putting cash down and later paying the full amount in advance. Any advice to protect both parties in this transaction?" more>

Windstar Repeat Passengers Petition for Ship Repairs
From CruisePal: "I have been on Windstar over 20 times and remain a loyal supporter. However Wind Star and Wind Spirit ( both approx 14 years old) are showing serious signs of age. The aging is manifested not just in aesthetics like outdated and worn out cabin furnishings, lumpy mattresses, fitness and massage facilities, but also from more frequent and serious mechanical failures." more>

Questions About Locations and Suggestions for Commitment Ceremony
From Melinda McGowan: "My partner and I are planning to travel to Vermont in September. We will be going on the anniversary of our committment ceremony and would like to make it 'legal.' My parents are giving us a week in a time share, so we will not have much choice in where we stay. I am looking for advice on these locations, and also any experience anyone has with gay weddings at or near any of these places." more>

A Suggested Solution for Amtrak
From Keyroyal: "The solution to Amtrak's problems is simple. Congress has to continue funding the service. They support the airlines with airports and a control system; they support the trucks and buses with roads. There is no rail system in the world that is completely self sufficient. The European railroads receive money for capitol expenses. Operating expenses could be met if there was sufficient capitol investment." more>
