Roundtrip fares to Jo'burg and Capetown start from $999 through March.
OffPeakTraveler.com brought on the price wars last summer for packages to London. Then they stirred it up even more with great combos to Paris. In the winter they added New York City to their roster, and now they're bringing you the Baltic now through April 23.
The shoulder season is just around the corner, and prices are started to drop for package deals to all points Caribbean and Mexican. Today we're telling you briefly about seven-night getaways to Cancun out of LA or San Francisco starting from a reasonable $699 before taxes.

From Gloria Tzioumis: "I have read that one is able to fly to foreign destinations very reasonably if they are an Air Courier. What does this mean? Is it legit?"
From Cowart D Fairley Jr.: "Looks like British Airways is changing the rules on their Frequent Flier Program. If you buy a discount ticket, you will only get 25% of the miles that you get now."
From Tom W.: "My wife and I are planning on vacationing in Alaska in late May - early June. We are interested in kayaking activities but neither of us has any experience in this area. I understand that guided tours are offered. Our primary purpose for kayaking would be to see some wildlife and enjoy the outdoors and nature up close. My wife has some safety concerns with the activity... specifically (too) close encounters with whales. Is it possible to get very close to whales while kayaking and is there any danger in getting too close? Also, can two young adults in better than average condition participate in this activity even though we have no experience?"
From Bruce Burger: "I will visit Japan with my 5-year-old daughter from April 5-13, 2003. I'm looking for some specific advice, not general advice on Japan (I've been there) or travel with kids (our family has done a lot). But this is a special daddy/daughter trip because she's never been to Asia, and we both love sushi, and because ... well, because I know it will be great fun for both of us."
From Kjester: "In the SW part of the state, near Ft Myers and across the sound from Sanibel & Captiva are a few unspoilt places. Pine Island is pretty deserted, but that's why I like it. We rent a cottage and sail, fish off the dock, and watch the dolphins swim by every night at dusk. It's wonderful. You have to be able to make your own fun, though..the personality who enjoys Miami would probably commit suicide here. North of Pine Island is Gasparilla and Boca Grande. Really beautiful, windswept and peaceful."
