Delta Voluntary Bump Hassle
From Cecil Murray: "We approached the 3 Delta agents gathered around one computer terminal chatting and were told that the flight to Atlanta was over-sold and were asked if we would take a voluntary day's delay in exchange for $400 each and free overnight accommodations. We told the three agents that we would give up our seats, but only if we could be moved up to first class for both segments home the next day. They said that they would if there were seats available." more>

I was in Bali in February and look forward to going back. You can travel only between Sept 1 - Oct 31.
